Frequently Asked Questions
Final Inspections, Occupancy Permits, And Project.
Simply contact us through our website, email, or phone. Share your project drawings in any standard format (PDF, DWG, JPG, or scanned blueprints) and we will review the scope, send you a clear proposal, and begin your estimate once confirmed.
We need your project drawings or blueprints, specifications if available, and any bid instructions or addenda. The more complete your documents, the faster and more accurate your estimate will be. We can work with partial drawings and flag any gaps before we begin.
We accept PDF, DWG, DXF, RVT, JPG, PNG, and scanned blueprints. You can email files directly or share them via a link (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.). There is no minimum file quality requirement — we work with whatever you have.
No. We work with projects of all sizes — from single-trade residential jobs to large multi-trade commercial developments. Our pricing is based on the scope and complexity of the work, not on a minimum project value.
Our pricing depends on the trade, project size, and drawing complexity. Once you share your plans, we provide a clear, upfront quote with no hidden fees. Contact us for a free consultation and we will send you a proposal before any work begins.
Most estimates are delivered within 24 to 48 hours for standard residential and single-trade projects. Larger commercial or multi-trade scopes typically take 2 to 3 business days. Turnaround time is confirmed in your proposal before we begin.
Yes. We understand that bid windows are tight. Contact us directly by phone at +1 (647) 449-3202 and explain your deadline. We will assess the scope and confirm whether we can accommodate a rush turnaround, often for no additional charge on straightforward projects.
Estimates are delivered as editable Excel spreadsheets and/or PDF reports, depending on your preference. All reports include material quantities, labour costs, and cost breakdowns organized by trade or CSI division, so you can review, adjust, and submit with confidence.
Yes. Each project includes up to two free revisions within the original scope of work. Revisions must be requested within 3 days of delivery. If scope changes significantly — for example, new drawings or added trades — we will provide a revised quote for the additional work.
If addenda or revised drawings are issued, send them to us and we will update the estimate accordingly. Minor revisions within the original scope are covered. Major scope changes or design revisions may require a supplemental fee, which we will confirm with you upfront.
Our estimates target industry-standard accuracy, typically within 5 to 10 percent of actual project costs for well-documented drawings. We use professional takeoff software, current market pricing, and experienced estimators to minimize errors and protect your margins.
Yes. All estimates include detailed material quantities and labour cost projections based on real-world production rates and current regional pricing. You receive a fully itemized breakdown so you understand exactly where every dollar is allocated.
Yes. We reference up-to-date material and labour pricing benchmarks for the relevant region. Pricing reflects current market conditions, not outdated fixed-rate tables. This is especially important for trades like steel, lumber, and electrical materials where prices fluctuate frequently.
We flag all unclear or missing scope items before we begin and again in the estimate itself. Rather than making assumptions that could cost you money, we document each unresolved item so you can clarify with the design team or account for it as a contingency in your bid.
Yes. We can prepare preliminary or budget estimates from schematic or partial drawings. These estimates are clearly marked as preliminary and include a stated level of accuracy. As drawings are finalized, we can update the estimate to reflect the full scope.
Yes. All project documents, drawings, and communications are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share your information with any third parties. Project files are stored on secure cloud platforms with restricted access, and a formal NDA can be signed upon request.
Yes. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before you share any project information. Contact us and we will send you our standard NDA or review one provided by you. Protecting your project details is a priority we take seriously.
Yes. We work with general contractors, subcontractors, home builders, commercial developers, architects, and project managers. Our estimates are tailored to the role of the client — subcontractor bids are structured differently from GC budget packages, and we adjust accordingly.
We combine trade-specific expertise, professional estimating software, fast turnaround, and clear reporting in one reliable outsourced service. Unlike generalist estimators, our team understands each trade at a practical level — we think like contractors, not just calculators. Every estimate is reviewed before delivery and backed by a revision policy.
Yes. Many of our clients use us as a regular estimating partner throughout the bidding season. We offer priority turnaround and consistent reporting formats for repeat clients, making it easy to incorporate our estimates directly into your bid preparation workflow.
